TUSCANY
               better view

Murals are fired in a kiln 3 or 4 times so they achieve incredible, brilliant color and incredible, realistic detail that always create the "Wow" factor!

All painted tiles from Tile Art Ltd. are kiln-fired  which guarantees that the paint melts into the surface of the tile and becomes a part of the surface of the tile itself.

This mural was installed in the pool area to coordinate with the two murals at the front
of the  Siesta Key residence pictured at the top of this page.
6" tiles of hand painted  flower pots were installed on an existing mirror to create a frame effect to compliment  the vanity.
The mural over the stove,  all of the countertops and the kitchen island were hand painted tiles with a decorative accent that coordinated with the wall paper.

To compliment the map and balance out the
weight of the large tile mural
a Palm Tree was painted on tile,
framed in a poppet liner trim
and  installed on a near by column.

This mural tells a story of the history of Sarasota.
The pale gold tile matches the interior colors
of the home.

The center map shows Longboat Key
St. Armand's, Lido Beach and Downtown.

  BALTIMORE, MARYLAND RESIDENCE 1994
This hand painted tile mural was the perfect
solution for the high ceilings in this amazing bathroom

Sandra Davenport saw this mural in Better Homes and Gardens and wrote the magazine editor  to say:

"After seeing Paddy Dugan's work in Better Homes and Gardens magazine,  I had a mural designed for my bathroom.

This is the one thing in my home I enjoy everyday

because it was created just for me...
no one in the world has anything like it"

It's easy to create a fun room!
A faux rug is the solution to creating whimsy with a little
trick to the eye when people realize they are standing on
artwork....not a real "rug".
